Skiing, hiking, enjoying the natural world

Spring, summer, and autumn, winter: each season brings its own experiences, its own pleasure.

In summer our guests enjoy our large garden with its sunbathing lawn and children's playground. We are in the midst of the wonderful mountain world of the Dolomites, close to hiking and walking trails. Of course, we are delighted to give you individual advice on your hiking plans. The summer toboggan run on the Monte Baranci Mountain promises any amount of fun and the cycle trails to Lienz, Sesto and Brunico are very popular with families.

Skiing fun for large and small! The Monte Baranci Skiing Area ski lifts are in the immediate vicinity. Over 300 km cross-country trails.

The landlord, Willy, an experienced ski instructor, is delighted to give you advice to ensure that you enjoy your skiing. His son, Kurt Sulzenbacher - also a ski instructor - was a member of the Italian national ski team from 1994 to 2009. In 1995 he became Junior World Champion in downhill skiing in Voss in Norway. Since the start of his career, Kurt Sulzenbacher has participated in 2 Olympic Games (2002 in Salt Lake City in the USA and 2006 in Turin in Italy) and in 4 World Championships (2001 in St. Anton in Austria, 2003 in St. Moritz in Switzerland, 2005 in Bormio in Italy and 2007 in Are in Sweden).

Cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ski touring, snow-shoe hiking and many other activities reveal our romantic forests and meadows to you.
